Aug 29: Cats
So I get out the bath, and my legs are still a little wet, right? One of my cats comes up as I’m leaving the bathroom, and I tell her that she doesn’t want attention right now, ’cause I’m still wet. Well, being a cat, naturally she neither understands nor cares what I’m saying, and decides to rub up against my leg.
*rub* *shudder* …followed by a look that says “Eew, wet!”
To which I’m like “I told you so!”
Not one minute later, what happens?
*rub* *shudder* “Eew, wet!”
And, of course, the other cat was in my seat on the sofa. As always. I’ve had to chase him out of it so many times now that he knows to move as soon as I stand there in front of the sofa. So why does he bother taking my seat in the first place? There’s plenty of other places he could sleep.
I know they have teeny, tiny little brains, but still!
Anyway, I have to get back to my school reading. I’m still not sure if I can handle this workload, and yet it’s only two classes! If this is what it’s like to work on a Master’s Degree, it really makes me worry about if I’ll even be capable of pursuing a Ph.D.
