Losing momentum

Published June 7, 2015 by Iphis of Scyros

The end is in sight–the year of daily posts ends in August–but…yeah, I’m running out of things to say.  Though admittedly a lot of my posts have already been nothing.  It’s just that I’m starting to feel a little guilty about that.  So I’m trying to think of things to post on days when I have nothing to say, things that maybe people will actually want to read.

One of the things I’m thinking of doing is posting my play “Pyrrha,” one scene per day I have nothing else to say.  It’s far from being polished, though I’ve done some re-working on it already.  (Like changing the order of a number of scenes.)  I don’t know if anyone would want to read it, but it is based on a Greek myth, so…that’s one possibility.  Anyone interested?

Another possibility…uh…hmm.

Okay, I can’t think of any others at the moment.  I don’t want to commit to doing more than one myth a week, because I don’t think I could handle it; some of them have taken a lot longer to write than I was expecting.  Especially because I keep forgetting to write them ahead of time!  (Though that was only important while classes were going, naturally.  Right now it’s no big deal, ’cause I have nothing else going on.  Apart from the car thing, that is, which will probably continue to have fallout for at least a week.)

Thinking about it, it seems like it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything just musing on any myths.  I need to change that, huh?  I’ll try to think of something to ramble on about for Tuesday.  (Tomorrow being taken up with Missing Letter Mondays, y’see.  And tomorrow I will not be attempting poetry again, because last time was a disaster.)

Oh!  That’s right!  I’ve started using a new tag:  crazy-tag-101.  Because I like to put crazy tags on some of my posts.  (Like it-was-such-a-good-long-pause-that-i-became-unsure and awesome-metal-dildo to name two of my favorites.)  So if you ever put any crazy tags on your posts, pass on the insanity with crazy-tag-101 so I can see the tags, too, please!  (I’m eventually going to go back to all my crazy tag posts and add crazy-tag-101 to them, so all of them can be accessed through one handy link.  Eventually.  Next time I get bored, I guess…)
