Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but still! There just aren’t enough hours in the day for everything I need/want to get done!
Anyway, sorry this is not the myth re-telling of the quarrel between Athene and Poseidon about who would be the guardian god(dess) of the new city that would be named Athens, whichI said last week I’d post today.
It’s just that in looking over the material, I realized I first needed to do the birth of Erecthonius (or however you spell that) and some other stuff, and…yeah, it just became complicated, and today’s class reading really wore me out, so…life conquered the planned post.
But, getting back to the title of the post, I really do need to have multiple days every day.
I mean, I just bought two games on Tuesday (one pre-ordered, and one a lucky used find) not to mention one of the visual novels I backed on Kickstarter was released about a week or so ago, and I’ve got another massive JRPG pre-ordered for the end of next month, plus I have about four other visual novels waiting to be played, at least half a dozen RPGs, a couple of puzzle games…and (naturally) I’m still trying to fight my way through Hyrule Warriors Legends.
And that’s not to mention all the time I’m spending writing. Which is actually kind of a lot, as I’m still sort of hooked from July.
And then there’s all the books sitting around my house that I haven’t read yet.
And let’s not forget class work!
Oh, and work work. Though at least that doesn’t follow me home at night.
And, of course, I still need to clean my house. Desperately.
(Plus I do kind of need to sleep sometimes.)
Yup. The days are not long enough.
I need a time machine so I can go hang out in the depths of space and do all the gaming, reading and writing I want, then can come back here without missing a beat. (Preferably the time machine would be a TARDIS, so I could just unload all my stuff into it, and then forget all about my stupid house, ’cause I wouldn’t need it anymore.)
Or, in a pinch, I guess that thing Hermione used to travel in time in whichever Harry Potter that was would work. (Was that in Prisoner of Azkaban? (Or however that’s spelled. Y’know, the one that introduced Gary Oldman. I mean Sirius. Yes, I really did read the books, too! Once.)) But I’d rather have a TARDIS.
