No, I didn’t go on a date. I just finished the side-story about the first date of two of the characters from the piece I just finished. (I probably shouldn’t write about romances when I’m a dedicated non-romantic, but…enh, who cares?)
So, last night I got 850 words into that story, making yesterday’s total word count 2,069. I ended up stopping because (as I wrote in my wordcount notes) I “started typong gibberish and decided to gobto brd”
That was so funny to me that I at the time I couldn’t stop laughing.
Actually, it’s still making me giggle.
Anyway, today I finished up that side-story, which rounded at a very short 3,305 words, making today’s word count 2,455, and my total word count in November to date…24,454 if I’m not screwing up my math. (Or rather my typing into the calculator program on my computer, because I am way too lazy to try doing the math myself.)
So tomorrow I finally get to start the space fantasy I was planning on using as my NaNo project. Because better late than never. 😛 I have a lot of really fun, crazy stuff planned for it. (Including, but not limited to, drunken velociraptors clinging to lightpoles. Well, one drunk velociraptor, anyway. Dunno if he’ll have company.)
